Cards of Kindness Announcement

Today I announced to my school my National Honors Society (NHS) service project. My project is called Cards of Kindness (COK). COK is an idea that I had as a way to get kids in my school to talk to people they had never talked to before. My goal was that by the end of the project, there would be more lasting communication among the entire student body. In order to achieve this goal, COK is a school-wide activity where each student will be randomly assigned another. They will have until Nov. 19th to talk with that person and create a specialized card for them. To ensure that each student is able to complete their card, I will be meeting with each student individually and work with them to start a conversation and complete the card.
